Nikwax specialist waterproofer spray designed to protect against UV damage and enhance the water repellence of all weatherproof textiles. Easy to apply by hand, non-flammable, PFC and aerosol free.

What is Nixwax Solarproof?

Solarproof 500ml spray is a quick and easy water-based waterproofing and ultra-violet protection for synthetic tents, rucksacks, and awnings. A single application can double the life of the fabric.

How to use Nikwax Solarproof.

Always clean with Nikwax Tent & Gear Solar Wash first to maintain waterproofing and UV protection. Do not use conventional detergents.

Lay clean wet items flat or set-up tent and wet.
Spray evenly over the fabric. Avoid rucksack straps.
Wait for 2 minutes. Remove excess Solarproof with a damp cloth.
Check no areas have been missed.
Drying – All items should be air-dried. Allow to dry fully before packing.
