The entire jockey-wheel construction is built to withstand the rigours of touring and year-round exposure to the elements, with components and materials chosen for their durability. The 20mm steel axle tube runs inside a maintenance-free nylon bearing, resulting in no metal to metal wear, and much higher performance than a steel bearing which is prone to breaking under load.
KARTT have also developed the Turn-Lok - an anti-vibration device that stops the handle unwinding whilst towing, something that could cause serious damage to the caravan or other road users.
