Avtex Pro Series TVs: Perfect For Your Caravan, Boat or Motorhome
With their frameless edge to edge screens and sleek looks, Avtex Pro Series TVs will look the part in any caravan, boat or motorhome, but it’s what’s going on under the skin that’s really impressive.
Available in 19.5, 21.5 and 24-inch variants, these amazing entertainment centres pack a 1920 x 1080 full HD screen, built-in DVD player and dual-band satellite (S/S2) and terrestrial HD (T/T2) receivers. HDMI and USB slots then expand the possibilities still further. Features specifically for life on the road include high energy efficiency from 12-volt, 24 volt and 240-volt AC sources, as well vertical and horizontal viewing angles of 178 degrees. This means that wherever you’re perched in your van, you’ll get a great picture.
Other goodies include one-button tuning to local terrestrial channels, using Avtex AQT technology, and Personal Video Recorder, which allows you to record a satellite or Terrestrial TV programme while watching another channel, or even whilst watching a DVD.
There’s also live TV pause via USB drive, yet despite all this, Avtex has packed everything into a chassis that’s just 46mm deep in the 19.5-inch model. As for weight? 2.7kg for the 19.5-inch model up to just 3.1kgs for the 24-inch variant.

The Best Sat Nav Unit For Your Motorhome or Caravan Tour
Using a car sat nav unit can lead to trouble when driving or towing something bigger, as the route plans won’t keep you away from impossibly narrow roads, difficult junctions or bridges and tunnels with weight or height limits.
Avtex saw the gap and teamed up with navigation specialists Garmin to create a sat-nav system specifically for motorhome and caravan users. The result is the Avtex Tourer Two GPS sat nav.

The Tourer Two features a 7-inch edge-to-edge screen, with a pinch to zoom function, which displays the detailed maps of 45 European countries in vibrant colour (lifetime map updates included, of course).
What makes these sat nav systems really special is the facility to enter your motorhome or caravan dimensions and weight into user memory. The unit will then take these into account to plan the optimum route, avoiding any hazards along the way. The sat nav receives Garmin traffic updates every 60 seconds via DAB and will offer to reroute so you can avoid tailbacks. And the system also lets you add waypoints on-screen for inclusion in its route calculations.

The Avtex Tourer Two sat nav be linked to the Garmin reversing camera giving you crystal clear views on your sat nav screen.
The cameras are wireless for simple installation and with a typical range of 33 feet are suitable for most motorhomes and towing outfits.
