What does it look like? 

The Avtex AMR985 Mobile WiFi System includes an omni-directional MiMo antenna that is 3G/4G/5G compatible and a mobile cellular router. The purpose-designed caravan WiFi router is fitted discreetly in an overhead locker. The router features two fully unlocked SIM slots and has four Ethernet connections for direct internet connection for TVs and laptops. This router creates a secure internet connection within your caravan or motorhome, with speeds of up to 150Mbps.

The caravan wifi antenna is mounted on the roof of your caravan. It is extremely robust and low-profile, meaning that it is hardly noticeable.

How is caravan WiFi installed?

The unit should always be fitted by a Bailey-approved retailer or service centre to maintain the warranty on your caravan and motorhome body shell. The installation process is very simple; the unit is fitted on the vehicle roof with a single drill hole and locking bolt and the compact router is fitted inside with two screws and a line-in to 12V power.

If you have a Bailey Unicorn V caravan, or any Bailey from 2022 season onward, the installation is made much easier by the pre-wiring in each model. But the Avtex mobile WiFi system can be fitted in any caravan or motorhome, so it is still a fantastic upgrade for all.
